Zweisimmen is located in the Simmental in the Bernese Oberland. The village got its name because the Kleine and Grosse Simme rivers flow together here. The valley is surrounded by mountains to the north and south. To the south lies the main ridge of the Bernese Alps with its widely glaciated area. The Diablerets massif, the Wildstrubel and the Wildhorn are clearly visible. To the north, the prominent jags of the Stockhorn-Gantrisch-Gastlosen chain can be seen. The entire area of Zweisimmen stretches from 880 m above sea level in the valley up to 2476 m above sea level. Zweisimmen is considered the gateway to Gstaad and is the starting point for the Montreux - Bernese Oberland railroad.

My first-ever paragliding experience in Interlaken, Switzerland, and it was absolutely amazing! 🇨🇭🪂 The views were breathtaking, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
A huge thank you to my awesome pilot, Tinu, for making me feel safe and comfortable the entire time. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole experience so much fun!
And of course, my “George Clooney look-alike” pilot 😂
Definitely one of the highlights of my Switzerland trip. I would 100% do it again!
Danke schön, Tinu! ❤️”
