Stans
Stans is a municipality near Lake Lucerne. It is bordered by the mountains Stanserhorn and Buochserhorn, which reach an altitude of 1800 to 1900 m above sea level. The western foothills of the Bürgenstock also border the municipality. The local mountain is the Stanserhorn, which you can reach in two stages by a nostalgic funicular and a modern convertible cable car. Gallo-Roman cremations dating back to the 2nd century BC have been found in Stans. Worth seeing is the Schmiedgasse with the Waltersbärgli as a particularly old part of the village of Stans.

“Great facilities- friendly staff . We got the cog wheel train from Vitznau to the Kaltbad and then hiked up to the Rigi Klum. We had lunch there and then hiked back to the KaltbadSpa. It was so relaxing after the hi out .”
