“Perfect for beginners and the first canyoning adventure. We had a lot of fun—a fantastic guided tour through the gorge with stunning nature and impressively tall cliffs. Highly recommended! And watch out for the meeting point! Don’t follow the Google link on this page.”

Mels
Mels is located in Sarganserland in the Seez valley and therefore belongs to Heidiland. The Weisstannental is as well as the mountain Pizol part of the municipal area of Mels. The Weisstannental is very quiet and has many waterfalls. Since there is no through traffic, chamois, bearded vultures and ibexes also feel at home here. The mountain Pizol rises between the Tamina valley, the Weisstannental and the Calfeisen valley. Mels as a village has a beautiful old village center with many shopping and gastronomic facilities. It shows especially many old chapels and churches. There are also many information boards about the historical development of the village, a castle ruin, a small castle and a prehistoric-medieval hilltop settlement. The scenic surroundings are a paradise for hiking lovers. A beautiful mountain scenery, many rivers and streams and abundant old church buildings characterize the landscape.

“Loved it, everything was very well organized.”
“We really enjoyed our visit yesterday - 3 August 2026. It was an interesting tour of the information exhibition, and of course, the chocolate tasting was a perfect way to end it. We recommend it to others and maybe one day you'll come for the workshop as well. We wish the Cailler team continued success in creating delicious chocolates. “Peeking behind doors that are usually closed off is fascinating.”
“For four hours, our 18-month-old grandson was captivated by the trains and decorations. Your park is stunning. Thanks to everyone who helps keep this attraction running.”
