Leukerbad
Leukerbad is located in the Upper Valais in the rear Dala valley. The village stretches between heights from 1411 to 2700 m above sea level. Already in Roman times the area was known for its hot thermal springs. The valley is overlooked by several mountain giants such as Balmhorn (3697 m above sea level), Leeshörner (2974 m above sea level), Rinderhorn (3449 m above sea level) and Torrenthorn (2997 m above sea level). Several glaciers are also located here. On its deep saddle, the Gemmi Pass connects the Valais with the Bern region. A cable car runs from Leukerbad (1411 m a.s.l.) to the pass (2314 m a.s.l.). A 330m long via ferrata is located directly below the mountain station. From Leukerbad people like to hike to Adelboden or Kandersteg. In winter, winter hiking trails, cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails are prepared

“A beautiful place. Friendly staff. Thanks for preserving the history.”
“We experienced very attentive, friendly, and approachable staff on the cable car and in the restaurant. We are extremely grateful for that and would be proud of Switzerland if this were the standard. The two days in Mürren with Schilthorn were more than worth the money in every way.”
“Great. We thought we would spend 1.5 to 2 hours with my 4-year-old daughter, but we ended up staying all afternoon.”
“An amazing picture and sound experience!”
“It was an awesome team event. Raquel guided us safely, skillfully, and with a lot of heart through the gorge. Courage pays off! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
