In Lucerne, you'll meet your guide and take the train straight to the Stoos funicular railway. You'll ride the steepest funicular in the world up to the well-known holiday village of Stoos, situated at 1300 m above sea level and one of nine car-free villages in Switzerland. A short, easy walk through the village leads you to the chairlift heading towards Klingenstock. Enjoy the views during the 20-minute ride up to the summit.

The real hiking then begins. With panoramic 360° views of the Alps, the trail winds along the ridge. The modern track built over and through the rocks offers a wonderful hiking experience. Along the path, there are many spots where you can take a short break. Here, you can enjoy the lunch you brought yourself while taking in breathtaking alpine views.

A short but steep climb brings you to Fronalpstock, home to the highest restaurant in the canton of Schwyz. You can stop here to relax and reflect on the experience while enjoying views over Lake Lucerne. From here, you and your guide will head back, letting the mountain air and nature enchant you once more. The tour ends back in Lucerne.
