“Really great visit, well organized and interesting.”
Rivaz
Rivaz is located on the northern part of Lake Geneva in the Lavaux wine region. The village is located about 5 km west of Vevey. The small community is situated on the steep slope of the vineyards on a promontory 70 m above the lake. The view of the lake is particularly beautiful here. The entire winegrowing village dates from the 17th to the 19th century. It is protected as part of Lavaux and has therefore been preserved in its original form. Popular hiking trails through the vineyards begin at the village. These include a circular route to Chexbres. Next to the Forestay waterfall, more than 300 Lavaux wines can be tasted at Vinorama. Below the village is a landing stage of the shipping company CGN SA for the line Lausanne - Vevey.

“Excellent: interesting details about the city, told in an easy-to-understand way, just the right length (90 minutes), not too fast and not too slow. Recommended!”
“It was a stunning castle and we easily spent a couple hours there.”
“Quality day with valentine and airtime paragliding. Couldn’t have made my 30th any more special.”
“Absolutely amazing! I had a stunning glide and as a bonus got a massage!!!”
“5 stars for the mountain views, lucky with the weather and to be seated on the revolving part of the restaurant. Most of the cable staff were confused with this app/ticket, only one out of six knew to scan the QR code with a different app, the rest let us through the barrier with a couple of them saying we should have had a paper or different sort of ticket. No extra cost etc. but be warned. Waitress in the restaurant didn't recognise the ticket either so had to check with a manager but all good in the end. Meat and cheese board for 2 people as expected - four different ones of each, a couple of pieces of cheese, four slices of each meat.”
