The app now opens with three tabs: Experiences, Hiking and Train travel.

    Set your stops on the hiking map – the app works out the route with its elevation profile.

    Fly through the hike in 3D before you set off and scrub back and forth along the elevation profile.

Set your stops on the hiking map, and the app works out the route with its elevation profile. The 3D flight shows you every climb, every lake and what the weather will be like up there, before you set off.

How much does the Swiss Activities app cost?

The app is free. You only pay for what you book – securely in CHF, with the payment methods shown for your country at checkout.

Which devices does the app run on?

On iPhone and iPad from iOS 15.1 and on Android smartphones. Download it from the App Store or Google Play.

Can I open my tickets offline?

Yes. Confirmed tickets stay saved in the app and open without an internet connection too.

Can I buy SBB tickets in the app?

Yes. You get the same official SBB tickets as at the counter, no SBB login needed. There are also saver day passes, regional passes and, for visitors, the Swiss Travel Pass and the Swiss Half Fare Card.

Which languages is the app available in?

In 30 languages, including German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Who is Alpi?

Alpi is the mascot of Swiss Activities and your travel planner in the chat. In the app and on the website he puts days together for you with real times and prices.

Where does the weather data come from?

From MeteoSwiss, the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology. Swiss Activities is a private travel platform and does not represent a government entity.
