Ligerz
Ligerz is a commune on the northern shore of Lake Biel. Near the railroad station is the valley station of the funicular Vinifuni. It connects Ligerz with Prêles. In Ligerz there is also a landing stage of the Bielersee Schifffahrtsgesellschaft. Several theme trails lead through the village. The vineyard educational trail ends at the vineyard museum. A pilgrimage trail starts in Klein-Twann and goes through the vines to the church and to Schafis. A popular excursion is the hike through the nearby Twannbach Gorge.

Most of the cable staff were confused with this app/ticket, only one out of six knew to scan the QR code with a different app, the rest let us through the barrier with a couple of them saying we should have had a paper or different sort of ticket. No extra cost etc. but be warned. Waitress in the restaurant didn't recognise the ticket either so had to check with a manager but all good in the end. Meat and cheese board for 2 people as expected - four different ones of each, a couple of pieces of cheese, four slices of each meat.”
