Description
Your bus journey starts in Zurich and takes you through the Bernese Oberland to Interlaken. Here, you enjoy the scenery between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. From Interlaken, you have a good view of the mountains of the Jungfrau region with Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
You explore the area around Interlaken yourself. The return trip by bus ends again at the meeting point.
Swiss Activities Tip
At Lake Thun, a visit to the Beatus Caves is worthwhile. They are situated above the lake on the slope of Beatenberg Mountain. Out of a total length of 14 km, about one kilometre is open to visitors. You can reach them by boat. From the Beatus Caves/Sundlauenen boat station, it takes approximately 20-25 minutes to walk along a pilgrimage trail to the caves. Right in front of the caves, there is a restaurant with a beautiful view of the Niesen.
