About this place
The historical archive of the city of Lugano. One room is devoted to the Rainis and Aspazija Museum, with a permanent exhibition on the life and work of the Latvian poets Rainis (1865-1929) and Aspazija (1865-1943). They lived in Castagnola during their exile in Ticino from 1906 to 1920.
