Description
This trip is ideal if you have little time but still want to enjoy views of the lake, city, and surrounding area. You’ll travel on a modern boat across Lake Lucerne, taking in stunning sights from the deck, including the city of Lucerne and the picturesque surroundings dominated by the imposing Bürgenstock.
The boat departs from the Lucerne harbour. During the one-hour cruise, you’ll sail to Kehrsiten-Bürgenstock and back. The boat pauses briefly below Bürgenstock so you can enjoy the view, but you cannot disembark during this round trip. After the cruise, the boat returns you to the Lucerne harbour.
Traveling with a wheelchair
- All SGV ships (except MS Rütli) are wheelchair accessible.
- Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on all ships (except MS Rütli and MS Mythen).
- The entrances to the outdoor decks in 2nd class are on the same level.
- On the MS Diamant, the 1st class area on the upper deck can be reached by elevator.
Traveling with your dog
- Dogs under a shoulder height of 30 cm: free if they are in a suitable basket or a pet-friendly bag.
- All other dogs: dog ticket (one-way: CHF 10.00, return: CHF 12.00)
- Official scheduled trips: dogs are warmly welcome. This also includes the midday ship, Lake Uri midday ship, breakfast ship, and breakfast on scheduled boats.
- Dogs are not allowed on any other special theme trips.
Swiss Activity Tip
In the evening hour, when the sun is setting, this tour is especially recommended. The light on the mountains and the lake is beautiful in good weather.
