When is festival season in Switzerland?
Most open airs take place between June and August, in July several almost every weekend. Jazz, classical and winter festivals are spread over the whole year.
What is the largest festival in Switzerland?
By visitors, Street Parade with about 900’000 people. Among the largest are also Montreux Jazz Festival, Paléo Festival Nyon and Basel Tattoo.
When is the lineup announced?
The big festivals usually name their first acts in the autumn and winter before. We check the official lineup pages every day and mark new acts.
How do I get there by public transport?
Every festival page shows the trains from where you are, with prices, plus the Saver Day Pass and saver tickets. Book early: both are limited.
