Description
The lantern trail at Sattel-Hochstuckli offers you a unique winter experience in the evening. Along the circular route, you'll enjoy a magical atmosphere surrounded by a snowy landscape lit softly by lanterns.
The "Skywalk" suspension bridge spans the wild romantic Lauitobel with views over the Ägerital. It is 374 m long and up to 58 m high. The entire path is two kilometres long and easy to walk. The elevation change during the stroll is 40 metres. The walk takes about 40 minutes.
For an optional finish, you can enjoy a romantic dinner at the Mostelberg mountain guesthouse. The last gondola descent is at 11:30 pm, giving you plenty of time. You can choose between a cheese fondue and a gourmet menu (aperitif, salad, hot stone with beef entrecôte and side dishes, dessert).

- The cable car is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs
Travelling with your dog
- Dog ticket required for 5 CHF
- When visiting the Skywalk suspension bridge, you can borrow special “dog slippers” at the mountain station if your dog has trouble with the bridge’s floor grating.

- Please check the timetable on the day of travel on the SBB website or app
- The lantern trail is open from 18:00 to 22:00. The gondola lift runs continuously until 23:00 on Saturday evenings
- Evening rides are not included in the Swiss Knife Valley Pass, Meilenweiss Pass or Schneepass Zentralschweiz
