Effingen
Effingen is located on the western Bözberg and belongs to the municipality of Böztal in the Jurapark Aargau. On three sides of the village, the hills rise gently to the Table Jura. In the popular recreation area of the Jurapark you can go hiking or cycling. Near Effingen there has been winegrowing again since the 1970s. Effingen lies on the route that connects Basel with Zurich by the shortest route. The main road goes up here at 569 m above sea level to the Bözberg pass and connects the Fricktal directly with Brugg
