Diemtigen
Diemtigen is located at 828 m above sea level and is the residence of about 2300 people. The village is situated in the Bernese Oberland in the Diemtigtal valley. It is flowed through by the river Fildrich. The nature park in the Diemtigtal invites in summer for hiking, biking or horseback riding. In winter, snowshoeing, sledding and cross-country skiing are popular. The Diemtigtal includes the eight villages: Oey, Diemtigen, Bächlen, Horben, Riedern, Entschwil, Zwischenflüh and Schwenden.

“Great facilities- friendly staff . We got the cog wheel train from Vitznau to the Kaltbad and then hiked up to the Rigi Klum. We had lunch there and then hiked back to the KaltbadSpa. It was so relaxing after the hi out .”
