Unterhalb der felsigen Auguilles de Baumles quert die Route ein abgelegenes Gebiet, mit zahlreichen Bunkern aus dem zweiten Weltkrieg. Die letzte Steigung führt ins Vallée de Joux mit seiner Pflanzenwelt und den beiden Seen; ein Schmuckstück!
