Description

On this interactive scavenger hunt in Lausanne, you and your friends will explore the Ouchy neighborhood with the help of an app on your smartphone. At the same time, you'll tackle exciting and informative puzzles and tasks.

You can spontaneously go on a puzzle tour with your group. The starting time is up to you. All you need is one ticket per person for the interactive game and a smartphone with the corresponding app. The app guides you through an adventure filled with interesting facts about the city, fun tasks, and tricky riddles.

The scavenger hunt lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, but there’s no time limit.

Practical Information:

  • Not suitable for: wheelchair users, strollers
  • Starting point and endpoint are not the same
  • Smartphone with internet connection required
  • Each player needs a ticket
  • The game can generally be played in the dark, although some inscriptions may be harder to read
  • Dogs (without a ticket) are allowed
  • Each person can choose which language to play the trail in after entering the game code into the app. This means it's possible to play in a multilingual group without making separate bookings.

Swiss Activities Tip

The Ouchy district is located right by the shores of Lake Geneva in the south of Lausanne. You can easily reach Ouchy from Lausanne’s city center by taking the metro. The traditional harbor features notable buildings from 19th-century hotels and has extensive parklands. Ouchy has developed into a popular recreational area for the city of Lausanne. Here, you’ll also find well-loved paths for inline skating and other similar sports.

Info for school classes

  • A school class can have a maximum of 25 people (students and accompanying adults).
  • It's a good idea to split the class into several teams, ideally with a maximum of 8 people per team.
  • After booking, you'll receive a code for the game. This code can be redeemed by all participants, so a maximum of 25 times. By this point, it should be clear which students belong to which team.
  • One person from the team clicks the "Create Team" button and gives the team a name. The team members then click on "Join Team" to join using the team name.
  • The teams should start with a time gap of about 2-3 minutes to prevent them from simply following each other.
  • Generally, each person plays on their own smartphone. By answering the questions on their own devices, participants compete against each other and see a leaderboard of all players, which makes it even more fun.
  • If not every child in a class has internet-capable smartphone, the game can still be played. Those kids can share a smartphone with another child. There should be the same number of smartphones in all teams, with each team needing at least one smartphone.
