The Freiburg im Breisgau Christmas market is open from 19 November to 23 December 2026, Mon–Sat 10:00–20:30, Sun 11:30–19:30. More than 140 stalls stand at nine locations, including Rathausplatz, Kartoffelmarkt, Unterlindenplatz and the Colombipark. On Totensonntag (Sunday of the Dead), 22 November, the market stays closed.

More than 140 stalls with crafts, wood carvings, nostalgic toys and warm textiles, plus roasted almonds, crêpes and sausages. Since 2021 the illuminated Colombipark with a photo spot in front of the Colombischlössle has been part of it.
