Visp

Visp is located in the Upper Valais valley at the entrance to the Vispertal. It lies at the foot of the highest vineyard in Europe, which creates a true picture-book panorama around the town. Here the Vispa river flows into the Rotten. The town is considered a perfect starting point for all nature and culture lovers. The surrounding countryside offers great opportunities for active vacationers and well-known cities such as Zermatt, Leukerbad and Saas Fee can be reached in no time. Visp itself is characterized by a large number of Roman Catholic chapels and churches. For all sun worshippers Visp is particularly interesting, because the Valais is considered the sunny region of Switzerland, in Visp there are about 300 sunny days a year.
