Mellingen

Mellingen is located in the canton of Aargau along the Reuss River and impresses with its well-preserved medieval old town. The historical center is arranged in a triangular layout along the left bank of the river. The main street connects Lindenplatz to the Reuss Bridge and is lined with charming alleys. Notable sights include the clock tower with its elaborate dial and the Lenzburg Gate, the only remaining city gate in Aargau. The town church from the 17th century and the Iberghof, a former noble residence, testify to the long history of the place. Mellingen offers an appealing mix of historical charm and natural surroundings. The location is a starting point for the popular boat tours on the Reuss.

The Fitpass gives you unlimited access to more than 400 sports facilities in Switzerland. So you can practise numerous sports or try out new ones. The Fitpass is like a GA travelcard for sport, fitness and wellness. You can buy the pass for a week, a month or a whole year. You remain flexible with a six-month subscription.
