Glarus

Glarus is a mountain canton in the southern part of Eastern Switzerland. The region is very popular for hiking, mountaineering and paragliding, but also for winter activities Glarnerland is a popular destination. At 3614 meters above sea level, the Tödi is the highest mountain in eastern Switzerland. Thanks to the Glarner Überschiebung, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the area around Piz Saradona is one of the most famous geological landscapes in the world.
