The village has been officially documented since 1461 and was historically part of the Moutier-Grandval provostship. Crémines is known for its typical Jura village character, with farmhouses and wooden granaries dating back centuries, the Notre-Dame du Raimeux chapel, as well as its natural setting at the foot of Mont Raimeux, offering beautiful hiking and excursion opportunities.
