Bilten
Bilten is a village in the Linth plain of Glarus North. The houses were built on the debris cones of mountain streams to protect them from flooding. The village has been connected to the A3 highway since 1974. The House of Läderach chocolate factory is located in Bilten. Two houses from the 17th century stand in Bilten in Elsenerstrasse. They are the town's landmarks. The listed Miltsche Ritterhaus, built in 1638, was restored in 1977 by the artist Ulla Engeberg Killias, who also moved into the house.
