Val Grande Canyoning Expert for Experienced Adventurers from Gordevio

This canyoning trip in Val Grande is designed for experienced participants who move confidently through challenging terrain. You can expect high abseils, narrow passages, clear cold water, and polished granite. Optional jumps, slides, and varied water sections add to the adventure.

The first part is vertically focused, navigating tight gorge sections. Later, the canyon opens up, becoming more fluid with smaller abseils, walking sections, and playful elements. After a tributary, there’s a particularly demanding section with increased water flow.

In the second part, the gorge widens further. Sunny pools, optional jumps, and slides round off this long day excursion. The mix of technical challenges, water sections, and open gorge make Val Grande especially diverse.

• Hypoallergenic neoprene suit (2-piece; pants and jacket) with hood
• Canyoning shoes and hypoallergenic neoprene socks
• Canyoning harness and two self-locking devices with screw-lock carabiners
• Rockfall-certified helmet

• Swimwear (swimming trunks, swimsuit, bikini)
• Towel
• For the climb and colder temperatures, or if you tend to feel cold, feel free to wear close-fitting functional underwear, ski underwear, or similar that you can also wear under your wetsuit. IMPORTANT: It should be made from synthetic fibers or merino wool (not cotton, as cotton cools rather than warms).
