Description
You use the Day Pass Dog for your all-day excursion in Switzerland. The only requirement is that you also have a valid ticket. Your (large) dog will sit under your seat. If you want your small dog (less than 30 cm in height) to ride next to you on a seat, he must sit in a suitable container. In this case he also needs a dog ticket.
Practical information:
- The Day Pass Dog is valid in 1st and 2nd class. The dog uses with you the class for which your ticket is valid.
- Dogs are not allowed in the on-board restaurants. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are excluded from the ban.
Swiss Activities Tip
If you have a dog with a height of less than 30 cm, your dog does not need a ticket for public transport. It travels free of charge if it is placed in a suitable container under your seat. This can be a basket or a bag. Other transport companies that are not part of public transport may require a ticket even for small dogs.

Straightforward. It would be even better if the dog were free. It doesn't need a seat but lies on the floor.
