Schaffhausen

Schaffhausen is a town on the High Rhine with about 37,000 inhabitants. The city is located southeast of the Randen, at the mouth of the Durach, which comes from the north, into the Rhine. There are numerous Renaissance buildings in the old town of Schaffhausen. In addition, there are over 300 oriels, which is why Schaffhausen is also called the oriel town. The Munot is the landmark of Schaffhausen. The circular fortress was built in the 16th century on the Emmersberg. Southwest of the city is the Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe
