Description
The Pizol ski area stretches from 2227 m above sea level down to 509 m above sea level and lets you really enjoy the white splendor. The season runs from mid-December to early April.
With your ticket you can use the whole skiing area of the Pizol. With the mountain railroads you can reach the top from Bad Ragaz or Wangs With 23 different slopes, there is the right slope for skiers of every level.
For beginners there are practice lifts at both mountain stations. Blue slopes are available at the other lifts in the upper part of the ski area.

Practical information:
- There is no deposit on chip cards
- Parking Bad Ragaz/Wangs 45 minutes free of charge: CHF 5.00/day; (in Wangs please leave a parking disc)
Swiss Activities Tip
In winter, the Pizol has additional attractions to offer. If you want to take a short rest from skiing with a picnic, we recommend a visit to the Wangsersee near the Pizol hut. The lake, located high up on the summit, becomes a huge skating rink in winter. The spectacle is beautiful to behold.
Directions
by public transport:
Bus lines 429 and 430 go to the Wangs valley station from Sargans train station
- On weekdays four buses per hour
- On Sunday two buses per hour
To the Bad Ragaz valley station, the post bus line 456 departs from Bad Ragaz station.
- At peak times in the morning and evening every half hour
- The local bus is included in the ticket
by car:
- A3 Zurich-Sarganserland, exit Sargans, 2 km to Wangs
- 500 parking spaces available
- Additional 350 outside parking spaces with transport by Pizolbahn bus (transport and parking free of charge)
- A13 Bodensee-Sarganserland, exit Bad Ragaz Nord, 2 km to valley station Bad Ragaz
- 600 parking spaces available

The weather was great. The staff at the chairlift and T-bar lift were very friendly and helpful. A manageable area for skiing.

Great ski area at the top. The blue and red runs (12?) should swap colors. Friendly service everywhere.
