One of the experienced employees from Jakob's Basler Leckerly Manufaktur takes you and the rest of the public group on a discovery journey. The air is enticing with the smell of spices and sweet aromas.
This traditional pastry has a distinctive taste and has been popular in Basel for centuries. In the bakery, you can watch as the dough is prepared. Here, the employees also cut out the classic Leckerly shapes.
They explain every step to you and give you valuable insights into the small but crucial details of the baking process. After a tasting, the tour takes you to the packing area, where you get to pack your own Leckerly.
