Sledding is a fantastic snow activity for young and old alike. In Grindelwald, there are various runs suitable for this. From Männlichen, you have a choice of different routes.
Take a gondola in Grindelwald and ride up to Männlichen. During the ride, you will float over the beautiful winter landscape of Grindelwald and admire the unique panorama. Once you arrive at the top, the sledding adventure can begin.
From Männlichen, two different paths lead down to Holenstein. One of them is Rita's Speedway. On this route, you will glide through beautiful snowfields and over fun steep slopes down to Holenstein. From Holenstein, you can take the gondola back to Grindelwald.

In the picturesque mountain village of Grindelwald, there is a variety of cafés and restaurants to warm you up. This includes the cozy Café 3692. In this modern establishment, you will be served various local snacks and warm drinks. This way, you can regain your strength after your tobogganing experience.

Important information
- Please check the schedules on the day of your trip and make sure that the toboggan run is open. The season start depends on the snow conditions. If the toboggan run is closed due to lack of snow, you can cancel the ticket for free. Please contact our customer service for that.
- The ticket is only valid for one ascent. If the toboggan run is not passable all the way to the valley and you need to take the mountain railway back, you can purchase a separate ticket for this route on site. Please note that this will incur additional costs.

Unfortunately, on site I found out that this online ticket was "probably" just a one-way ticket for the ascent. I then had to buy a ticket for 61 CHF. In my opinion, this borders on fraud. It says the ticket is valid all day, but then you learn that this is true only for one trip up the mountain. From now on, I'll rather buy the ticket on site.
