Description
In this exhibition, you get a close-up experience of the Titanic's story and learn impressively more about the passenger ship. Using 360-degree projections, virtual reality, and interactive elements, you'll explore the ship's architectural design. Follow its final voyage and discover the personal stories of those on board.
Walk through faithfully recreated rooms, listen to the final performance of the ship’s musicians in spatial sound, and explore the wreck in a virtual setting. The exhibition combines historical content with modern technology to provide an informative and impressively lasting experience.

- You may take photos for private use (without tripod)
- Parking available at Pfingstweid car park by Welti Furrer (276 spaces)
- Food and drinks available at Bistro Lichthalle or Bistro k2
- Forbidden items include food, computers, professional cameras and recording devices, selfie sticks, sprays, weapons, bags larger than A4 size
Immersive and VR
Immersive:
You dive into a multimedia world of images and sound, experiencing it as if it's real. Graphics, animations, pictures, or videos are projected onto three-dimensional objects using a 3D mapping projection system. This creates a unique atmosphere.
VR:
VR stands for "Virtual Reality." It refers to a computer-generated digital environment. Using special devices (VR headsets), it is presented very realistically. You feel like you're directly inside this virtual world, able to interact with it.
Traveling with wheelchair, stroller, dog
- Animals are not allowed (except for assistance and guide dogs with proof)
- Strollers are generally allowed in the MAAG light hall. If there is a large crowd, there are parking areas available.
- Wheelchair: the exhibition is fully accessible for people with limited mobility. Two designated parking spaces are located directly in front of the MAAG light hall.

The film inside the hall was really great!!! Very impressive! Afterwards, the tour with the VR headset was amazing! You could walk through the rooms of the Titanic... a truly unique experience!!!
