Description
You learn how to glide over the water with a wing and board, using the wind. This activity teaches you the technique of wingfoiling, where you control the board with wind power.
In addition, you experience towfoiling, where you are pulled by a boat and lift the foil board above the water. Both techniques enhance your balance and coordination on the board.
You practice handling the wing precisely and controlling the lift during towfoiling.
Inclusions
Full-day course from 09:00–15:30: tow foiling in the morning, followed by theory and equipment familiarisation, plus 4 hours of wingfoiling with radio coaching

Important information
- Meeting point: the Swiss Foiling School base at Bucheli campsite, Dammweg 7, 6452 Sisikon – just a few minutes' walk from Sisikon railway station
- Requirements: good health and the ability to swim unaided for at least 15 minutes
- Board, foil and wing are included, and helmets are provided free of charge; you can hire a wetsuit, neoprene shoes, a swimming/impact vest and gloves on site
- Small groups of no more than 4 people; English available on request
- If the course is shortened due to wind or weather, you'll receive CHF 80 for each cancelled course hour; a replacement date will be arranged if the course is cancelled completely
- The course runs with at least 2 participants; if too few people have registered, the school will let you know in good time
