Two short Advent markets are announced for 2026 in Arosa. On Saturday 28 November the Advent market in the Kursaal foyer starts at 14:00, followed at 16:00 by the Advent apéro in the village centre with the Jungmusik Arosa youth band; it ends around 18:00. As early as Sunday 22 November, an open-air Christmas market takes place from 11:00 to about 16:00 in the Schanfigg village of Peist on the Chur–Arosa railway line.

Advents Markt / Advents Apéro
Kursaal foyer (Panoramabar) and village centre
To mark the start of the 2026/27 winter season, a small Advent market opens on 28 November from 14:00 in the foyer of the Kursaal by the Panoramabar. From 16:00 an Advent apéro follows in the village centre on Poststrasse, with the Jungmusik Arosa youth band playing until 18:00.

Weihnachtsmarkt Peist
Along Unterstrasse, Peist (Schanfigg)
The Dorfverein Peist (village association) invites visitors to an open-air Christmas market along Unterstrasse. Homemade goods are on offer, such as biscuits, pear bread, jam, honey, woodwork, knitted items and cards; the on-site catering serves hot food, coffee and cake.

The Advent market on 28 November is part of the 2026/27 season opening and lasts only until about 18:00.
To Peist by train
Peist is on the RhB line Chur–Arosa. From the station it is about 10 minutes on foot uphill to Unterstrasse.
Without a car
From Arosa station it is about 10 minutes on foot along Poststrasse to the Kursaal.
How to get there
- About 10 minutes' walk from Arosa station along Poststrasse to the Kursaal in the village centre.
- By Rhaetian Railway (Chur–Arosa line) to Peist, then about 10 minutes' walk uphill from the station to Unterstrasse.
