As a beginner, you start on the Maran practice trail and get familiar with the equipment and basics. It's up to you whether you want to enjoy a relaxed time outdoors or take on a sporty challenge. Your instructor selects one of the well-prepared cross-country trails in Arosa for you.

- Meeting point: ski school office in the Galerie Obersee building (Poststrasse 64–66, 7050 Arosa), 15 minutes before the lesson starts; from there, you’ll take the ski bus with your instructor to the selected cross-country ski trail – another meeting point is available on request
- Private lessons for 1 to 6 people, on your own or with family or friends
- A double lesson lasts 110 minutes; each additional hour lasts 55 minutes
