Description
Let yourself be enchanted by a delicious lunch and the stunning view during this boat trip, and enjoy the journey across the crystal-clear lake. Lake Lucerne is surrounded by the peak of Central Switzerland and lies within the territories of the cantons of Uri, Schwyz, Nidwalden, and Lucerne. The view on the tour ranges from Pilatus over Bürgenstock to Rigi, the Queen of the Mountains. To fully enjoy your midday break, attentive onboard staff will serve you.
At the Lucerne harbour, you board the boat. For two hours, you cruise across Lake Lucerne while indulging in a tasty lunch. The lunch includes a seasonal three-course dish, a non-alcoholic drink, and a tea or coffee. You can choose between a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian meal.
After the circuit, the boat takes you back to the Lucerne harbour.

- In winter, the ship departs from berth 1, otherwise from berth 3
Traveling with a wheelchair
- All ships of the SGV (except MS Rütli) are wheelchair accessible.
- Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available on all ships (excluding MS Rütli and MS Mythen).
- Access to outdoor decks and restaurants in second class is level.
- On the MS Diamant ship, the first-class area on the upper deck is accessible by lift.
Travelling with your dog
+Dogs under a shoulder height of 30 cm: free of charge if kept in an appropriate basket or dog-friendly bag.
- All other dogs: Dog ticket (one-way: CHF 10.00, return: CHF 12.00)
- Official scheduled journeys: dogs are very welcome. This includes the midday ship, Urnersee midday cruise, breakfast ship, and breakfast cruises on regular ships.
- Dogs are not permitted on all other special themed cruises.

My partner and I were a bit disappointed. We spent around 230 francs in total for a salad, mineral water, porcini mushroom ravioli, and a caramel cream. Since we already have the 1st class GA, the boat ride would have been free anyway. The boat left punctually at 12:00, and around 12:40 we were asked which of the two menus we chose. With a two-hour boat trip, there isn't much time left for a three-course menu. They didn’t even ask us about coffee at the end, as there wouldn’t have been enough time anyway (the boat was already back in Lucerne at 13:50). More staff is definitely needed for this trip so that guests have enough time to enjoy their meal. Regards, Rolf Stucki

This lunch cruise was expensive, but it was a fantastic experience. The food was great, much better than the usual fare on lunch or dinner cruises I’ve done. The views were majestic on a beautiful sunny day in the Swiss Alps.
