Description
After a mandatory safety briefing in Lauterbrunnen you will get your equipment. With a minibus you will be driven about 2 min to the helicopter base.
Now begins the sightseeing flight over the Lauterbrunnen valley and further to the Eiger north face. Thanks to the panoramic windows, you will experience this notorious rock face from the helicopter at close range. In addition, you have a unique view of the Jungfrau region.
After the jump you have about 45 minutes of free fall until the parachute opens at an altitude of 1500 meters. You fly past impressive, steep rock faces and waterfalls. After about 8 minutes you land at the helicopter base.
In total you should plan about 2-3 hours.
Practical Information:
- Photo-video packages or extension of the helicopter flight can be arranged directly with the provider after booking
- In case of bad weather the skydive will not be performed
- Wear closed shoes (no hiking boots)
- Gloves are recommended in winter
- Not recommended for people with back problems, circulatory problems, heart diseases
- Free shuttle from/to Lauterbrunnen train station possible by arrangement
Swiss Activities Tip
Eiger PLUS: For an even more intense helicopter experience, you can book even more flight time for an additional charge. The helicopter will then additionally fly to the Jungfraujoch and over the Aletsch glacier. By the way, the view is especially good in the winter months.
