Die Region rund um Sörenberg ist eine urtümliche Hochmoorlandschaft mit lichten Tannenwäldern. Die Route steigt zuerst hinauf zur Blattenegg mit fantastischer Aussicht auf die Schratteflue, dann hinab zum Salwideli und weiter zur Emme. Über einen schön angelegten Säumerweg wird bis zum Restaurant Lombachalp eine herrliche Landschaft durchquert. Die zweite Abfahrt endet in Habkern.
