Charles Nguela

Timing is everything. Not only on stage, but in life too. Celebrated stand-up comedian Charles Nguela is back! With his brand-new show “TIMING”, he brings his fourth stand-up comedy show to the stage. The title says it all: Charles explores a universal truth that concerns us all – timing. Inspired by his mother’s wise words – “Timing is everything in life” – he shows how the right moment decides chances and dreams. Or how, with bad timing, everything ends in a catastrophe. Charles himself has a special talent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time – even though he is always punctual! Whether it’s meeting the love of his life, catching the career-defining moment or simply placing the perfect pause in a joke: timing is everything. Except perhaps with his cousins in South Africa. They may be chronically late, but they score points with the most charming excuse: food! Because it is hard to be angry with someone who arrives late but brings food for everyone. “TIMING” is more than a comedy show. It is an evening full of stories written by life itself – with all its quirks, unexpected twists, awkward situations, narrow misses and completely unnecessary disasters. With his usual energy and positive force, Charles shows how timing connects all these experiences in unexpected ways. Seated event, free seating.
