Romanshorn
Romanshorn is a harbor town on the southern part of Lake Constance. The Swiss Lake Constance Shipping Company has its headquarters here, so quite a few boat trips start in Romanshorn. The SBB train station is located directly at the harbor. In the hinterland, the small town has a lot of forest, which was awarded for its exemplary forestry. The old customs house, which has been converted into a museum, and the mighty warehouses at the harbor, which were still used for cargo handling until 2020, are worth seeing.

on "Night Watchman" Historical City Tour Winterthur“On our innkeeper’s recommendation, we booked the 07:40 cable car from Mürren to the Schilthorn, as well as an 08:00 brunch reservation at Piz Gloria. The views were breathtaking, and the brunch buffet offered plenty of choice. We had 90 minutes at our table, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the changing scenery from the revolving restaurant. We also explored the other viewing areas and enjoyed the James Bond film memorabilia. Our next stop was Birg, where we took in the Skyline View and watched the more adventurous visitors tackle the Thrill Walk. Our final stop was Mürren, before we walked back to Gimmelwald. It was a great alternative and less expensive than the Jungfrau experience.”
