“Tour guide was very good, switching from both English to German.”
Olten
Olten is a railroad town between Bern, Zurich and Basel. The river Aare flows through the small town and shapes the townscape. The 1.5 hectare wildlife park Mühletäli shows among others sika and fallow deer. The Säli-Schlössli or the Ferris wheel offer magnificent views of the city. Art museum, Latinobar or arthouse cinema provide special moments. On the weekend before the summer vacations, Olten has been celebrating the school festival since 1816, including a parade on Sunday. “Nice train ride from st. Gallen to Lucerne, beautiful scenery.”
“A wonderfully sunny day and relaxing hours at Rigi Kaltbad Wellness. It was worth being at the spa as early as 10:30 AM, since it got very crowded in the afternoon. We’ll gladly come back – of course by boat, train, and cable car.”
“I highly recommend Swiss Activities! Our journey was perfect as was the service.”
“Too many people, hard to hear in the back.”
“Nice museum with lots of tastings”
