Nach dem ersten Aufstieg nach Stans eröffnet sich ein eindrückliches Panorama über den Stanser Boden, den Vierwaldstättersee und die Gipfel der Innerschweiz. Höhepunkt am Ende der Etappe ist die Einsiedelei des Niklaus von Flüe mit den Ranftkapellen.
