The beginner area Klostermatte is located directly near Engelberg. The flat tracks of the area are perfect for all children and ski beginners. Various lifts and conveyors take you up the hill. Klostermatte is therefore the largest ski area for beginners in Central Switzerland.
Children can learn skiing in a playful way in Globis Winterland. The area is also located on a southern slope and therefore gets a lot of sun. The view from the area offers you views of Graustock, Wendenstöcke and the famous Titlis.And if you need a break after all that practicing, you can regain your strength down at the family restaurant OX
The area is very easy to reach. By car you can drive directly to the area. The nearest parking lot is only 50 meters away and offers space for many cars. It is also easy to reach on foot from Engelberg.
