Engelberg-Ristis-Brunnihütte summer flexible hiking ticket cable car

With this ticket you reach Ristis from Engelberg with the cable car. It is a 65-person cable car and takes about 3 minutes to Ristis. From Ristis you hike to the Brunnihütte at the Härzlisee and take the chairlift back to Ristis. You can also take the chairlift up first and walk down later.

Distance mountain railway

• Bottom station: Engelberg (1016 m above sea level)
• middle station: Ristis (1605 m above sea level)
• top station: Brunnihütte (1861 m above sea level)

From Ristis you have different possibilities to get to the Härzlisee. You can also walk these routes the other way round.

Hikes between Ristis and Brunnihütte:

• Ristis - Holzghirmi - Brunnihütte: 4.5 km, 280 vertical meters, 1:20 hours downhill, 1:30 hours uphill. You take the cable car to Ristis and walk on an asphalt road to Rigidalalp. From there you continue on a hiking trail to Holzghirmi. Here you pass directly the "magic hole".
• Ristis - Brunnihütte directly: 6.3 km, 270 vertical meters, 2:00 hours. A wide path leads first to Rigidalstafel. Later you walk up the instructive Brunnipfad. The path is not only instructive, but also suitable for baby carriages.
• Ristis - Rigidalalp - Brunnihütte: 4 km, 260 vertical meters, 1:00 hours downhill, 1:15 hours uphill.
• Ristis - Rosenbold - Brunnihütte: 3 km, 260 vertical meters, 1:00 hours downhill, 1:10 hours uphill.

Summer toboggan run, playground and barbecue areas:

• At Ristis you will find a small paradise for children. Carousels, three swings, a trampoline, seesaws, slides, a large climbing and balancing landscape as well as a small rope park make children's hearts beat faster. The 660 m long summer toboggan run circles the playground. With children you must therefore definitely plan enough extra time.

Practical information:

• Large parking lot at the valley station Engelberg (5 CHF per day)
• A free bus runs from Engelberg train station to the Brunni valley station in winter
• The cable car is open depending on the weather, therefore it is important to check the weather conditions before arrival
• Dogs require their own tickets

The tickle path at the Härzlisee is a 220 m long barefoot path. The feet are cared for here by means of different materials. Wood chips, pebbles, sand and water alternately massage the feet. It is open from June to October and definitely worth a visit. The starting and ending point is the herb hut (Chruiter Hüttli)

The summer season ends at the beginning of December and begins anew at the beginning of May.

As a rule, the cable car and the chair lift operate daily. From the beginning of November to the beginning of December, Monday and Tuesday are closed.

Chairlift

• First departure from Ristis: 08:30 a.m
• Last departure from Brunnihütte: 16:30 hrs

The panoramic hiking trail between Ristis and Brunnihütte is passable with an all-terrain pram or wheelchair. Between Ristis and Rigidal the path is asphalt. From Rigidal to the Brunnihütte it is a gravel path that requires some strength. Downhill it is easier.

All other paths are not passable with a wheelchair or a pram.
