About this route
Der Wanderweg führt fast durchgehend durch die Uferwälder des Rheins, der hier durch Moränenwälle an den Fuss der Vorberge des Schwarzwalds abgedrängt wird. Am Wegrand liegen die Ruinen mehrerer römischer Wachttürme und das Erdwerk «Bürkli» bei Riburg.
