About this route
Der Monte San Giorgio, auch als «Berg der Fossilien» bekannt, ist UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Er wird nach einer kurzen Schiffpassage in Angriff genommen. Auf 230-240 Mio. Jahre datierte Saurierfossilen sind in einem kleinen Museum in Meride zu bewundern.
