About Rhine
The Rhine rises in the Swiss Alps, more precisely at Lake Toma in the canton of Graubünden. It flows through numerous regions, including the famous Rhine Gorge, also known as the "Swiss Grand Canyon". You can go hiking here and marvel at the impressive gorges and rock formations. The river is also ideal for water sports such as canoeing, rafting and boat tours. In cities such as Basel, you can enjoy a boat trip on the Rhine and discover the picturesque riverside landscapes.
