Biberstein is located in the very south of the Jurapark Aargau and borders directly on the Aare. The village center is located on a terrace, which is somewhat elevated. Worth seeing is the castle Biberstein, which is surrounded by a moat. It stands on a rock near the bank of the Aare. Nowadays, the castle serves as an educational and residential facility for disabled people. The village center of Biberstein still reminds of the settlement in the Middle Ages.
