Important information
- Sledges at the mountain station are free, but cannot be reserved. Availability is not guaranteed, and you may have to wait during busy periods. You can bring your own sledge
- From the mountain station, walk about 500 m to the start, taking your sledge with you. The run then takes you about 500 m back to the mountain station
- The sledging run is open only when there is enough snow
- In winter, the cable car runs every 20 minutes from 09:00 to 17:00
- Seasonal closure and maintenance: 2 November to 4 December 2026 and 12 to 30 April 2027
- Halbtax and GA Travelcards are not valid
- Bring ID showing your date of birth to get discounted tickets
- Parking at the valley station costs CHF 5.00 per day. The bus from Engelberg railway station to the valley station is free
