Via ferrata Schweifinen for advanced Zermatt

You climb as an experienced climber through route B of the via ferrata. You will be accompanied by an experienced mountain guide. The pure climbing time in the 3.3 km long part is about 2:15 hours. Within this part B you overcome about 458 meters of altitude in both directions.

With special endurance and as an experienced via ferrata climber, you dare to do route C of the Mammut via ferrata Schweifinen under the guidance of the mountain guide. The pure climbing time in the 5.5 km long part is about 3:30 hours. Within this part C you will overcome about 791 meters of altitude in both directions.

• Good, suitable footwear

The mammoth via ferrata Schweifinen requires skill, a head for heights and surefootedness.

Routes B and C are particularly suitable for experienced via ferrata climbers.

K4 (difficult):

"Even on exposed or steep passages there is only a wire rope belay (arm strength required). Artificial holds such as hooks or iron steps only in the most difficult places.
