Description
Combine a trip to the Rigi with relaxing hours in the wellness oasis of Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad. The train ride and the spa stay you can make according to your own planning, since the ticket is valid all day, plan at least 3 hours.
You start your journey on the Rigi in Arth-Goldau, Vitznau, Weggis or Kräbel. You have the choice of arriving by cog railroad or by one of the two cable cars. The Mineralbad & Spa Rigi Kaltbad is located right next to the Rigi Kaltbad First train station.
The entrance to the mineral bath and the journey with the Rigi cable cars are included in your ticket. Maybe you book one of the wonderful massages from the spa menu on site. As you have a day ticket for the Rigi cable cars, you may start the return journey from the station of your choice.
Practical Information:
- Bring your own towel or rent one for 5.- CHF in the bathroom
- Children travel free of charge, but pay the entrance fee to the mineral baths
- Children are allowed to use the mineral bath and steam bath only when accompanied by an adult

The spa experience could be improved upon, eg guest soap in the showers and doors on the coed showers and perhaps a higher barrier or frosted glass so the showers are not in clear view of the entrance. A cold plunge pool would be a welcoming experience, as well as a sauna master and/or improved textile-free sauna etiquette. Healthy drink options poolside other than alcohol and ice cream, like fresh juice, local brand glacier mineral water and super-food smoothies would be much appreciated as well! Otherwise, the mountain experience was fantastic👌
