When combining the “Berner Oberland Pass at a reduced price with the Swiss Half Fare Card,” the 25 % discount on all mentioned routes increases to a 50% discount.

• Almost all trains can be accessed without any issues by wheelchair. However, there are still some stations that are not yet wheelchair accessible.
• Traveling to Jungfraujoch by the Eiger Express 3S train from Grindelwald Terminal (via Eigergletscher station) is recommended for those with wheelchairs or strollers.
• If you have a group of 3 or more wheelchairs, you should inform the ticket officer at the departure station about your trip. This way, any necessary assistance can be organized.
• You can register for a free boarding and alighting assistance with the “SBB Call Center Handicap” up to 24 hours in advance.
• All BLS course ships provide wheelchair or stroller access to the main deck (2nd class), where there are also accessible restrooms available.
• Not all mountain railways have been adapted to carry wheelchairs yet. Often, transport is only possible when the wheelchair is folded. Be sure to check in detail with the operator of the planned mountain railway.
• Dogs can travel for free on public transport in some cases. However, if you want a worry-free journey, you can purchase a Bernese Oberland Pass for your dog for a fixed price of CHF 30. This price remains the same for all periods. Even for a 10-day pass, you only pay CHF 30 for your dog.

• Please check in advance the schedules on the day of travel. Some establishments are closed at the beginning and towards the end of the season.
