In the combination “Bernese Oberland pass at a reduced price with the Swiss Half Fare Card,” the 25 % discount on all mentioned routes increases to a 50 % reduction.

• Almost all trains are accessible for wheelchair users without issues. However, some stations are still not fully accessible.
• For travel to Jungfraujoch by wheelchair or stroller, it is advisable to take the 3S-Bahn Eiger Express from Grindelwald Terminal (via Eigergletscher station).
• Groups of three or more wheelchairs should inform the station staff about their journey at the start station to arrange any needed assistance.
• You can register a free boarding and alighting assistance with the “SBB Call Center Handicap” up to 24 hours in advance.
• All BLS paddle steamer routes allow wheelchair or stroller access to the main deck (second class). There are also accessible toilets there.
• Not all mountain railways have been upgraded to carry wheelchairs yet. Often, wheelchairs must be folded for transport. It’s best to check directly with the operator of your planned mountain railway beforehand.
• Dogs travel sometimes for free on public transport. If you want to travel worry-free, you can buy a Bernese Oberland Pass for your dog at a fixed price of CHF 30. This price applies equally across all time periods. Even the 10-day pass costs only CHF 30 for your dog.

• Please check the schedules on the SBB website or app on your travel day. Some services may be closed at the start and end of the season.
