Bernese Oberland Pass

On the days you’ve selected, you can use the Berner Oberland Pass for your outings in the region. Since 2025, you’ll have the option to purchase up to two additional days directly at the train station on-site.

In the combination “Berner Oberland Pass at a reduced price with the Swiss Half Fare Card”, the 25% discount on all mentioned routes increases to a 50% discount.

• Almost all trains can be accessed easily with a wheelchair. However, there are still some stations that are not yet wheelchair accessible.
• Traveling to Jungfraujoch with the Eiger Express 3S train from Grindelwald Terminal (via Eigergletscher station) is advisable if you're using a wheelchair or a stroller.
• Groups of 3 or more wheelchairs should inform the ticket staff at the departure station about their trip. This way, any necessary assistance can be arranged.
• You can register for free entry and exit assistance with the “SBB Call Center Handicap” up to 24 hours in advance.
• On all BLS scheduled boats, access to the main deck (2nd class) with a wheelchair or stroller is possible. There are also wheelchair-accessible restrooms available there.
• Not all mountain railways have been upgraded to accommodate wheelchairs yet. Often, they can only be taken along when folded. It’s definitely advisable to check in advance with the operator of the planned mountain railway.
• Dogs can travel for free on public transport in some cases. However, if you want to travel without worry, you can buy a Berner Oberland Pass for your dog for a flat fee of CHF 30. This price applies uniformly across all time periods. Even for the 10-day pass, you only pay CHF 30 for your dog.

• Check the timetables on your travel day. Some services may be closed at the beginning and end of the season.
